Dr. Susan Mischissin
Born and raised in Freeland, Pennsylvania, Dr. Susan Mischissin is a 1987 graduate of Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
A dental practitioner with over 20 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Mischissin completed her professional education in 1991 at Temple University School of Dentistry. During her fourth year of dental school, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Epsilon honorary dental society, which only accepts the top 10 students from each graduating class. She also received the distinguished Senior Award in General Dentistry for being the most proficient student, both academically and clinically.
Membership in several professional organizations provides Dr. Mischissin to be influential towards developments in her field, which provides a wider forum to improve patient care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association, New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry, Cape May-Atlantic Dental Association and the Cape May Atlantic Implant Study Club. She also serves as a delegate to her state dental association.
Through her professional experiences and extensive education, Dr. Mischissin has built an efficient and technologically advanced office with the most up-to-date procedures and equipment to provide patients with the best quality care available.
Dr. Mischissin is also committed to helping many charitable organizations as well as many different schools’ events. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their two children, Ashley and Matthew.
Dr. Mischissin also enjoys all forms of dance, especially ballet and ballroom dancing. She is also certified in many aspects of scuba diving.
